Innovation and Technology Fair
The Faculty of Engineering
held its 20th Anniversary Innovation and Technology
Fair (IT Fair) from 16 to 18 September 2011 at the CUHK
campus to showcase a wide spectrum of outstanding research
projects of its departments and students. Highlight
of the faculty achievements include the applications
of biomedical engineering, cloud computing, robotics
and automation, multimedia and wireless and mobile technologies.
An opening ceremony for the exhibition held on the morning
of 16 September 2011 with keynote speech about the development
of network technologies delivered by distinguished speaker
Prof. Wu Hequan, Former Vice-President of Chinese Academy
of Engineering, China. Over hundreds of members of the
public, engineering students, alumni, media and friends
have visited the 3-day IT Fair to celebrate the 20 years
of excellent achievement of CUHK Faculty of Engineering.
