The Faculty of Engineering PhD Summer Workshop 2019 will be held on 8-12 July 2019 (Monday – Friday) on the CUHK campus. The workshop aims to attract prospective applicants of Engineering PhD programmes from all around the world for the 2020-21 Intake. Activities include research seminars to be delivered by faculty members, research poster session, meetings with professors and Ph.D. students, lab visits, campus visit, admission interviews, etc. Highlights of the summer workshop are as follows:
- 150 students will be invited to the workshop based on their academic excellence, research ability and potential.
- On campus accommodation provided to participants for 6 nights (7 – 13 July 2019)
- Travel subsidy upon completion of the workshop (HK$1,500 for mainland participants; up to $3,000 for participants from Asian countries; up to $4,000 for participants from other places)
- Every participant will be invited for a PhD interview.
