International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva

Prof. Raymond K. Y. Tong from the Department of Electronic Engineering won a Gold Medal at the 44th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva which ran from 13 to 17 April 2016 and attracted over 700 exhibitors from 48 countries with 1,000 new inventions and products.  

The invention presented by Prof. Tong was a wearable exoskeleton robot for stroke rehabilitation.  It has intelligent motion sensors to identify the user's intentions, for different walking speeds and climbing stairs.
